We’re fortunate to have inherited a vast array of fruit trees and canes, which means we have some gloriously mature and productive sources of top and soft fruit. Among these are some thirty varieties of apple tree.

Inevitably, some of these have begun to reach the end of their productive lives, so we have set in motion a replacement programme with the emphasis on flavour and, where possible, prolific cropping.

Apples (see right for the varieties we’ve managed to identify so far)
Brambles (or blackberries)
Damsons
Figs
Gooseberries
Morello Cherries
Mulberries
Pears
Plums
Raspberries
Rhubarb
